The question has often been asked:

“Does art imitate life or does life imitate art?”

While visiting Vienna, Austria last year we lost something of value with many important items inside. The local police informed us about Vienna’s unique Fundservice (Lost and Found service.) The series of events that followed were so mind-blowing that we became inspired to produce a short film entitled, “Fundbox – A love story” loosely based on the experience. With cooperation from the Vienna Film Commission, and working with Vienna-based Studio Bischof Produktions, we put together a first-rate cast and crew – all locals - along with many Austrian musicians, including a current member of the Vienna State Opera. Shooting our short film in Vienna turned out to be an extraordinary experience!

So much of media today is dominated by negativity and bad news. Even in cinema, it seems as if political issues and controversy abound. We believe this heartwarming and uplifting universal story is something the world needs desperately these days, and will appeal to audiences of any age and any background. The idea for “Fundbox – A love story” was born of art imitating life. We hope that after viewing our short film, life will then imitate art and people will walk away with a renewed faith in their fellow man, and a greater resolve to do the right thing.
